 Tonio maintains
the USSF (US Soccer Federation) “A” License and the NSCAA
(National Soccer Coaches Association of America)
Advanced National diploma. In 2007, he was the
94 Missouri Girls State Soccer Coach for the ODP (Olympic Development Program)
and also received his IMPACT certification for coaching competitive volleyball.
Tonio currently
coaches
four competitive youth soccer teams; the Viati 94 Boys (U15), the Viati 95 Girls (U14), the Viati 97 Girls (U12),
and the Viati 90 Boys (U19).
He
coached for 7 years with the Futura Futbol Club.
In the Fall of 2007, Tonio became the Academy Director for WMSL's (Western
Missouri Soccer League) 1st Academy. He also became the Executive Director
and Assistant Head Coach for the newly formed Kansas City Kings, a PASL (Premier
Arena Soccer League), semi-professional indoor soccer team.
Tonio
played professionally for the Oklahoma City Slickers, the Shreveport Lions, and
the Lafayette Swampcats and still plays in tournaments,
Corporate Challenge, and men’s
premier league play.
